Housing

Alex believes that housing is a human right and recognizes the need to increase affordable housing and address the homelessness crisis facing California. Alex understands that to solve our housing crisis, we need an all-hands-on-deck approach. He is leveraging his experience and long-time relationships at the local, state, and federal levels – as well as his partnerships with relevant stakeholders – to help develop housing solutions that work for all Californians.

He is proud to advocate for increased federal funding and resources as well as champion transformative legislation, like his Housing for All Act, to significantly expand the supply of affordable housing and services for people experiencing homelessness. Alex is committed to building strong, supportive communities for all Americans, especially those who have historically faced discrimination in the housing market.
