Clerkships

The Office of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla offers law clerkships in our Washington D.C. office. Law Clerks’ responsibilities will include conducting research, drafting memoranda, tracking legislation, preparing for committee hearings, evaluating court decisions and legal trends, and assisting counsel with Senator Padilla’s portfolio on the Judiciary Committee.

The clerkship is open to law school students and recent law school graduates.

The application deadline for Spring 2022 clerkships is November 12, 2021 at 11:59pm ET. Please click here to submit your application. All applications must be submitted through the OAM system.

Please note: At this time, we are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 public health crisis and are committed to ensuring the health and safety of interns. We will adjust the program format for internship classes as needed to meet the challenges presented by the pandemic. For our spring internship program, we are still assessing if participants will be in-person or virtual.
