Applications for the Positions of U.S. District Court, U.S. Attorney, and U.S. Marshal
The Constitution gives United States Senators responsibility for providing advice and consent to the President on federal judicial nominations. One important part of this role is that Senators recommend individuals to the President to serve as U.S. District Court Judges as well as U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals.
Senator Padilla has established a Judicial Evaluation Commission in each federal district to review candidates for the positions on an ongoing basis for the positions of U.S. District Court Judge, U.S. Attorney and U.S. Marshal.
If you are interested in being considered, please complete the application and send it together with supporting documents electronically to Mr. Michael Troncoso, statewide chair of the Senator’s judicial evaluation commission, at firstname.lastname@example.org. (Note: it is not necessary to include a photo in your application materials.) Interested applicants are advised to apply now and not to wait for a vacancy to arise.
